Dear The Goldman Orthodontic Family:
Although we hoped we would be back in the office by the beginning of April, due to CDC and State of NJ guidelines we will be closed indefinitely until it is safe to re-open.
During this time we will have limited emergency hours Monday-Thursday 9-2:30pm and Friday 9-1pm. If you or your child should have an orthodontic emergency (broken bracket, poking wire etc) please email us a picture. DO NOT TRY TO TAKE CARE OF THE EMERGENCY YOURSELF. By trying to take care of the emergency without our guidance you might make the issue worse.
Please email us a picture and we will respond to you (firstname.lastname@example.org). You may have to come in or Dr. Goldman may be able to guide you over the phone.
As a reminder, during this time please follow our food/brushing instructions very carefully to minimize emergencies. With Easter and Passover approaching please break hard, crunchy foods into smaller pieces and soften hard things if needed. Please stay away from sticky candies.
We appreciate your patience during this time. Although many are concerned about their progress or their children's orthodontic progress please rest assured that we will catch up and for many patients, the wires can remain for months and not cause any problems and will continue to straighten and correct the teeth. The wires we use today are meant to be used for extended periods of time for them to take full advance of their benefits.
If you should have any questions regarding your treatment or your child's treatment (ie elastic wear, expansion question) please email us pictures and Dr. Goldman will do her best to do a virtual visit.
We look forward to seeing you when it is safe to do so. Please stay home and stay healthy.
Dr. Adena M. Goldman and Team
